We at Grokability, Inc. don’t want your personal data. However, any personal information you provide us with will be treated confidentially and securely.

The first thing you should know is that we will never sell your personal information to third parties. Any third parties we share your information with for the purposes of running our business (for example our payment provider, Stripe) have committed to treating your personal information with as much care as we do. They are not permitted to market to you, sell or share your personal data, or contact you in any way outside of the purpose for which we engage them.

Processing of personal data takes place in accordance with the requirements of the applicable data protection legislation. This means that we:

  • clearly specify our purposes before we process personal data (that’s what this privacy statement is for)
  • limit our collection of personal data to the minimum needed for legitimate purposes only

  • take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, and
  • respect your right to inspect, correct, or delete your personal data held by us

Our websites use cookies to better customize user's experience and protect access for other authorized users, for example to login and download invoices, manage your assets in your hosted environment, or check on ticket status in the Helpdesk.

We do not under any circumstance provide your personal data to other companies or organisations, unless we are forced to do so by law (for example in case of a suspected crime).

Types of Data

Your personal data can be processed by us with the purpose of entering into and executing agreements and for managing the resulting relationships. This might include activities such as signing up for our services, or communicating with us through our helpdesk system.

Helpdesk Communication

When you send us a support request email, or if you contact us in any other way, the data you provide us with will be used to answer your question or to process your request. We store your name, email address, and any other information you’ve sent us so that we can respond to your inquiries.

Financial information

Your bank account number or credit/debit card details. This data is all processed through our payment gateway (Stripe), and we do not store payment information on our servers.

Data that identifies you

Your IP address, login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types, geolocation information about where you might be, operating system and version.

Grokability is a business-to-business service directed to and intended for use only by those who are 18 years of age or over. We do not market to children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal data from any person under 18 years of age.

Sensitive Data

We don’t collect any "sensitive data" about you (like racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious/philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health data, data about your sexual life or orientation, and offences or alleged offences) except when we have your specific consent, or when we have to to comply with the law.

Usage Statistics

Your URL clickstreams (the path you take through our site), products/services viewed, page response times, download errors, how long you stay on our pages, what you do on those pages, how often, and other actions.

We store usage data provided by your browser. This data can be used to help resolve technical problems, or to generate usage statistics to help us improve our website.

This usage data includes the IP address of your device, a user-agent string that identifies the type of platform and browser you’re using, and the date and time at which you retrieved a page or any other resource.

This data is never shared and always anonymized before processing.

Changes to this privacy statement

We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement. Changes will be published on our website.
